Connie Harris currently serves as the Associate Superintendent for Educational Services in the Deer Valley Unified School District. Connie graduated from Arizona State University in Secondary Education with a major in English. She then earned a Masters in Reading, and another Masters in Counseling/Human Relations. She began her Doctoral studies in Curriculum/Instruction and then switched to Educational Leadership. Connie served as an assistant principal for four years. Then she led two high schools as a principal for twelve years before transferring to the district office. Her areas of focus are curriculum, instruction, assessment, leadership staff development, school improvement, and school safety among others.
