Brian has served in school business administration for over 19 years. He has served as a Director of Food Services, Director of Maintenance Operations and Transportation, Business Manager, Chief Operation Officer for a charter school management company and Assistant Superintendent for Business Services He is responsible for administrating the budget/finance, accounting/payroll, food services, maintenance, transportation, purchasing, warehousing/inventory, student records and technology departments for the Pendergast Elementary School District. Brian teaches school budget and finance and accounting classes for AASBO and the BOLTS conferences held by ASBA/AASBO on School Finance.

Brian has served as past President of AASBO. Brian is currently serving on the Boards of the ASA Education Services Division, the Arizona School Risk Retention Trust, Mohave Education Services and the School Construction Insurance Pool. Brian also serves on the ADE School Finance Advisory Committee and the Association of School Business Officials International Professional Development Committee.
