Dr. Lillian R. Baribault is the Assistant Superintendent for Instructional Support Elementary in the Paradise Valley Unified School District. In that capacity, she supervises the principals at the elementary sites, the three directors in the areas of assessment, curriculum, and language acquisition, and serves as a member of the superintendent's cabinet. As one of three cabinet members who facilitate the district's in-house administrative internship training program, she is focused on helping aspiring administrators develop the leadership knowledge and skills to be successful principals and district administrators.
Dr. Baribault has been in public education for 30 years as a teacher at the elementary, middle, and high school level, an assistant principal, elementary and middle school principal, curriculum director, and now is an assistant superintendent. Her leadership in ASA was serving as the middle level president in 1998-1999. She was recognized in 1999-2000 as the C.A.M.L.A. Principal Educator of the Year. Lil has served on several Arizona Department of Education Solutions Teams. Current initiatives include long range planning and facilitative leadership in assisting stakeholder groups to achieve identified goals.
